Today, to finish our week long topic based around the story of The Little Red Hen, we have made some bread. The children worked in teams to follow a recipe that involved adding flour, yeast, oil, salt and water and then giving it a really good knead - this was the bit that they loved the most and happily spent 20 minutes kneading their dough!! We watched as the dough slowly rose and then baked it in the oven. Once cooled the children all enjoyed eating their lovely bread! Well done Hedgehogs!
