Thank you to the whole school and the children’s families for attending our Remembrance Assembly today - the Year 6s did a fantastic job in sharing their beautiful messages of remembrance.
Our Remembrance display in the hall is ready for our assembly on Friday. We are looking forward to commemorating this important time with the whole school.
Year 6 have been historical detectives today, trying to solve the murder mystery of the 20th century! We have studied sources to try to discover how World War One began, evaluating their reliability. Fantastic work Deer Class!

We had a brilliant parent event this afternoon, sharing our curriculum week linked to WW1 and the lives of Eliza and William. The children presented their hard work, including their art, drama and research. Thank you to the parents for joining us.
Our World War One boards are almost ready for our parent event, sharing what we have learnt from the WW1 boxes we have borrowed. Just the finishing touches to add and some drama to perfect, then Year 6 will be ready!
